Stoic Mind Map

A mind map is a diagram used to visually organize information into a hierarchy showing relationships among pieces of the whole. This Stoic mind map is a personal interpretation of the Stoic system. We are certain that there are gaps and inaccuracies in this map, and apologize in advance if it lacks value for you. We are sharing it after receiving enthusiastic “nudges” from friends stating others might find benefit from this uncommon visual schema.

This mind map was based on many different sources and built from many conversations, but we would like to extend our thanks to Chris Fisher for his “Stoicism on Fire” podcasts, Dr. John Sellars for his book “Stoicism”, and to Erik Wiegardt & Adam Valenstein who were mentors during coursework with The College of Stoic Philosophers, as particularly large influences to growing our understanding of philosophy and this map.

We welcome feedback on how we might further improve upon this map and encourage you to send your thoughts to info@thestoicregistry.com. Positive comments are also welcomed.
